4. Informed Consent
Before using our telemedicine services, patients must provide informed consent indicating their understanding of the potential risks and benefits of telemedicine consultations. This includes understanding that telemedicine consultations may have limitations compared to in-person consultations, such as the inability to conduct a physical examination. Terms and Conditions for Telemedicine Delivered by Strength Healthcare Group

1. Appointment Booking
a. Patients can book appointments through the Strength Healthcare Group website or mobile application.
b. Appointments can be booked up to 24 hours in advance.
c. Patients must provide accurate personal information, including their name, contact details, and medical history.
d. Patients must ensure that they have a stable internet connection and a device with a camera and microphone for the telemedicine consultation.

2. Consultation
a. The telemedicine consultation will be conducted by licensed healthcare professionals employed by Strength Healthcare Group.
b. The consultation will be conducted via video call or phone call, depending on the patient’s preference.
c. The healthcare professional will review the patient’s medical history and symptoms before providing a diagnosis and treatment plan.
d. The healthcare professional may request additional information or tests if necessary to provide an accurate diagnosis.

3. Payment
a. Payment for telemedicine consultations must be made in advance through the Strength Once the payment is made, the patient will receive a confirmation email with the date and time of the scheduled telemedicine consultation. It is important to note that insurance coverage for telemedicine consultations may vary, and patients should check with their insurance provider beforehand. In case of any technical difficulties during the consultation, the healthcare professional will make every effort to resolve the issue or reschedule the appointment if necessary.

Cancellation Policy:

1. Patients can cancel their telemedicine appointment with Strength Healthcare Group up to 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time.

2. If a patient cancels their appointment within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time, they will be charged a cancellation fee of £50.

3. Strength Healthcare Group reserves the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to unforeseen circumstances such as technical difficulties or medical emergencies.

Refund Policy:

1. Refunds will only be issued if Strength Healthcare Group is unable to provide the telemedicine service due to technical difficulties or other unforeseen circumstances.

2. If a patient is dissatisfied with the telemedicine service provided by Strength Healthcare Group, they may request a refund within 7 days of the appointment date.

3. Refunds will be processed within 14 business days of receiving the refund request.

Prescription Policy:

Strength Healthcare Group providers may prescribe medication during a telemedicine appointment if deemed medically necessary and appropriate for the patient’s condition. It is important to note that not all medications can be prescribed through telemedicine appointments. Controlled substances, such as opioids, cannot be prescribed through telemedicine. Additionally, providers may require patients to have a physical exam or lab work done before prescribing certain medications. Patients should always follow their provider’s instructions and consult with them if they have any questions or concerns about their medication.

Laboratory & Other Investigations:
We understand the importance of laboratory and investigations in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions. Therefore, we have developed comprehensive terms and conditions for telemedicine delivered by Strength Healthcare Group covering laboratory and investigations request and management.

1. Laboratory and Investigations Request:

a) Patients can request laboratory and investigations through our telemedicine platform.

b) The request will be reviewed by our healthcare professionals, who will determine the necessity of the test based on the patient’s medical history, symptoms, and other relevant factors.

c) If deemed necessary, our healthcare professionals will provide a prescription for the test.

d) Patients are responsible for arranging their own laboratory or investigation appointments.

e) Patients must inform us of any changes or cancellations to their appointments.

2. Laboratory and Investigations Management:

a) Once the results of the laboratory or investigation tests are available, our healthcare professionals will review them.

b) Our healthcare professionals will communicate the results to the patient and discuss any necessary follow-up actions. We take great care in managing laboratory and investigation tests to ensure accurate and timely results. Complaints Handling:

In the course of your treatment, you may be referred to specialist for further care. Your usual doctor
will be informed.
In the course of your consultation the doctor may request for Laboratory test, imaging such as CT
scans, Ultra sound and other X-rays. You will then have take to request via email, print and take it the investigation center. You will then be able to upload image of the results to the doctor during your booking for the next appointment where the results will be discussed.
